Mayra Goñi regresó de Estados Unidos a pedido del público para formar parte de ‘El Gran Chef Famosos’, edición ‘La Revancha’. Pese a verse envuelta en una gran polémica con Leslie Shaw y otros artistas, la influencer peruana aseguró estar enfocada en sus proyectos.

En esta entrevista concedida a EXTRA, Mayra Goñi no solo nos habló de su participación en ‘El Gran Chef Famosos: La revancha’ sino que, nos contó de todo un poco, desde el tema en disputa con Leslie Shaw hasta cómo le va en el amor.

Ay, sí, estoy muy feliz, emocionadísima. La verdad que no me lo esperaba, yo ya estaba en Estados Unidos y me dijeron: ‘Mayra, ¿quieres regresar al Gran Chef La Revancha? La gente está que te reclama’ y dije: ‘Ay, qué emoción’. Así que, nada, gracias a la gente que me ha pedido porque estoy muy feliz de volver.
¿Has ensayado o tienes nuevos tips para la cocina?
No, chicos porque yo me fui de acá y dije ‘ya nunca voy a volver’, entonces ya me descuidé otra vez, pero ahora estoy practicando con mi mamá. El lunes todavía se estrena el programa así que tengo este fin de semana para meterle con todo y practicar.
La gente te ha pedido mucho porque amaba cuando tú cantabas mientras cocinabas

¿Cómo ves la competencia esta temporada?
La verdad es que, es como entrar a un salón nuevo, voy conociendo un poco a mis compañeros nuevos y estoy muy feliz de ver a mi ‘loquito’ (el ‘Loco’ Wagner) que lo adoro con todo mi ser, a Armandito Machuca, con los compañeros que ya he compartido y me voy a permitir conocer a mis otros compañeros que se ven súper buena onda, por algo todos estamos aquí, somos los elegidos. Yo creo que va a ser una temporada genial y muy divertida.
¿Te afectó mucho tu salida?
Ay, sí, me fui llorando, no lo podía creer. Me dio como una semana de depresión, una semana estuve en mi casa, no lo podía creer, así como que mi mamá me decía ‘Mayra ya, vete a Estados Unidos’ (ríe). No mentira, pero sí me afectó un montón y no me esperaba que me llamen, esta vez voy a dar todo de mi porque realmente me gusta estar aquí y quiero quedarme hasta la final.
Sobre la polémica que ha habido de los artistas nacionales, ¿piensas que todos deberían apoyarse?
Yo siempre opino que entre todos los peruanos siempre deberíamos apoyarnos, esa es mi forma de ver las cosas, pero cada uno tiene su manera de pensar y yo no me puedo meter en la manera de pensar de los demás, así que, nada, mi política es apoyarnos entre todos y hacer el bien para que te vaya bien siempre.
¿Piensas sacar un nuevo proyecto musical?
Sí, en ese proceso estoy, vengo con un género que nadie se lo espera, se vienen cosas muy lindas para mí, espero seguir teniendo el apoyo de todos ustedes cuando lance mi música.
